In March of this year (2020) I was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer.
I began posting a few articles under the heading “The Blessings In The Curse” and if you’d like to read just those posts, just go to the “Archives By Series” on the right and it will list all of them.
The intent of those posts is the same as the intent of every article ever posted here: to glorify our great God, and lift Him up to others in hopes that they will be encouraged in their own faith.
Cancer, like many things, is something we really don’t think about until it touches our lives or the life of someone we know. It is the number 2 cause of death in this country, second only to heart disease. While heart disease and heart problems might be more generally limited to those who are older, cancer does not discriminate based on age, gender, or race.
It is worth thinking about, and maybe contributing to the efforts to find a cure, even if it has not yet touched you or your loved ones.
Maybe these posts will help you make that decision, or will encourage you if you are similarly afflicted.

I am on my way to Oakdale for the same offense only for twice as long. I am trying to read TOC but I can’t find anything after you moved them. I think they will help tremendously. I turn myself in 11 6 17.
